Score your site in two minutes.
Twelve questions across the same six points we use on every paid engagement. You get an instant score and your two weakest areas named — no email address, no waiting, nothing to install.
How does your website score?
Answer honestly — a flattering score helps nobody. Nothing you enter is sent anywhere; the scoring happens in your browser and disappears when you close the tab.
-
Is it obvious what you want a visitor to do next?
On every important page — not just the home page.
-
How hard is it to actually contact you or buy?
Counting from any page, not just the contact page.
-
On mobile data, how fast is your home page usable?
Not on office fibre — on a phone, away from wifi.
-
Are your images sized for the web?
Straight-from-the-camera photos are usually 20 times bigger than they need to be.
-
Do you appear on page one for what customers search?
The words they'd use, not your company name.
-
Does each important page have its own title and description?
Written deliberately, rather than auto-generated or duplicated.
-
Have you completed your own enquiry or checkout on a phone?
The whole way through, recently, as a customer would.
-
Does the site work without pinching and zooming?
Readable text, buttons big enough to hit with a thumb.
-
Are the photos on your site real?
Your actual work, team, premises or products — not stock imagery.
-
Can a stranger see proof that other people trust you?
Reviews, client names, accreditations, registrations, real case studies.
-
Is your Google Business Profile claimed and current?
Correct hours, recent photos, and reviews being replied to.
-
Do your contact details match everywhere online?
Same name, address and phone number on your site, Google, and any directories.
Where you're weakest
This score comes from your own answers, not from a scan of the site. The full Site Scorecard is done by a person against your live pages, and usually finds things a self-assessment cannot.
What does the score actually mean?
It is a rough temperature check, not a diagnosis. A high score means the basics are probably in place; a low one means something specific is likely costing you enquiries. Either way it points you at where to look first, which is most of the value.
80 and above
The foundation is sound. What is left is refinement — usually SEO depth or conversion detail rather than rebuilding.
55 to 79
Working, with gaps. There are one or two specific things quietly costing you enquiries every month.
Under 55
Enough is missing that visitors are leaving before they contact you — and the biggest wins tend to be the simplest ones.
How is this different from the free audit?
This tool scores what you already believe about your site. The free audit scores what is actually there — a person opens your site, tests it, and writes up what they find. The tool is instant and anonymous; the audit takes 48 hours and arrives as a branded PDF.
This tool
Instant, anonymous, based on your own answers. Good for working out whether there is a problem worth chasing. No email address required.

Questions about the scorecard.
No. The scoring runs entirely in your browser and nothing is sent to us or anyone else. Close the tab and it is gone. That is also why there is no email field — we would rather you use it freely than trade it for your details.
It is only as accurate as your answers, and most people are kinder to their own site than a customer would be. Treat it as a prompt rather than a verdict — if it flags speed or mobile, that is worth checking properly rather than taking on trust.
Because they are the ones that reliably move money. Conversion, speed, search visibility, mobile, trust and local presence account for most of the difference between a site that earns and one that just exists. It is the same framework we use on every paid engagement.
Start with your weakest area rather than everything at once — the tool names the two worst on purpose. If you want it checked properly before spending anything, the free audit is the next step, and our services and pricing are published if you already know what you need.
It means the basics are probably right, which is further than most. The things a high score cannot tell you are whether your content matches what people search for and whether the site stays fast as it grows — both of which need looking at rather than answering questions about.
Yes, use it on any site you like — there is nothing stopping you and nothing to sign up for. If you are an agency or a freelancer and it is useful, take it as read that we would rather be helpful than protective.
