How much does a website cost in South Africa?
Our packages start at R3 000 once-off, or R549 a month on a 12-month term. What moves the price is how many pages you need and how much is being built. Everything inside the agreed scope is covered by the quoted price, with no hourly billing in the background.
How long does a web design project take?
Most websites launch in 2 to 4 weeks from an accepted quote. Content arriving late is the most common reason a build takes longer, so we send an outline of what each page should cover to keep you moving.
Is paying monthly more expensive than paying once-off?
Over twelve months you pay more than the once-off price, but the monthly figure also covers hosting, one hour of maintenance a month and support. On a once-off build those running costs are quoted separately.
Do I own the website on a monthly plan?
Yes. The website becomes yours at the end of the 12-month term. During the term you have a live, fully working site with hosting, maintenance and support included. If you want to own it from launch, choose the once-off option.
What if my project does not fit a package?
Then we quote it properly instead of forcing it into a box. Larger builds, unusual requirements and custom development are scoped individually against a written specification, still at a fixed price.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes, and it is common. Many businesses start with a Starter site and add pages, a shop or campaign pages as they grow. You pay the difference for the new work, not the whole build again.
What do I need before we start?
Your logo if you have one, a rough idea of the pages you need, your text, and any photos worth using. We send an outline for each page so you are never staring at a blank screen.
