What does a website cost?

Websites are priced as fixed-scope packages agreed before work begins, from R2 750 once-off or R499 a month. What moves the price is how many pages you need and how much is being built — not how long it happens to take us.

Same build either way.
Every plan runs over 12 months and includes hosting, 1 hour of monthly maintenance (security & content updates), and support. The website is yours at the end of the term.

Every package

What is included in every website?

Every build, at every price, includes mobile-first design, SEO foundations, a contact form, and full ownership handed over at launch. The packages differ in size and features, not in whether the fundamentals were done properly.

Mobile-first design

Designed for the phone first, because that is where most of your visitors are. Never an afterthought at any price.

SEO foundations

Clean structure, proper headings, fast load times and metadata built in, so the site can rank rather than needing rescuing later.

Full ownership

The site, the domain and the accounts end up in your hands — at launch on a once-off build, at the end of the term on a monthly plan. Yours to take anywhere after that.

A person to call

One point of contact through the build, based in Gauteng, on South African time. Not a ticket queue in another timezone.

Straight answers

What costs extra?

On a once-off build, three things sit outside the price: hosting and care, ongoing marketing, and anything added after the scope is agreed. Monthly plans already include hosting, maintenance and support. Either way, everything inside the agreed scope is covered by the quoted price — there is no hourly billing running in the background.

Hosting & care

Already included on monthly plans, along with an hour of maintenance a month. On once-off builds it is a separate monthly cost, and you are free to host anywhere you like. See hosting

Ongoing marketing

A website makes you findable; campaigns make you found faster. SEO and advertising are separate monthly services, never bundled in silently.

Scope added later

New pages or features after sign-off are quoted separately before we start them. You approve the cost first — nothing appears on an invoice unannounced.

Payment

How does payment actually work?

Two options for the same build. Once-off is paid against the quote, with terms confirmed in writing before work starts. Monthly spreads it over a 12-month term that also includes hosting, an hour of monthly maintenance and support — and the website becomes yours at the end of that term.

01
Quote

A costed scope, free

Tell us what you need and you get a written scope with a fixed price. No charge for the quote and no obligation to take it.

02
Start

Book your slot

Accepting the quote confirms your place in the schedule and starts the work. Payment terms are set out in the quote, so nothing is a surprise.

03
Build

Built and reviewed

Delivered in stages with review points, so you can see progress and correct direction while it is still cheap to do so.

04
Launch

Live, then handed over

We test, migrate and launch. On a once-off build the site is yours from there; on a monthly plan it becomes yours at the end of the 12-month term.

Questions, answered

Pricing questions we get asked most.

Over twelve months you pay more than the once-off price, but the monthly figure also covers hosting, monthly maintenance and support for that year, which a once-off build pays for separately. If cash flow is not a constraint and you want to own the site immediately, once-off is the simpler route.

The website becomes yours at the end of the 12-month term. During the term you have a live, fully working site with hosting, maintenance and support included — the plan covers building and running it, and ownership transfers once the term completes. If you would rather own it outright from launch, the once-off option does that.

The build itself, plus hosting, one hour of maintenance a month covering security and content updates, and support — for the full 12 months. On a once-off build those running costs are quoted separately, so the monthly figure is not simply the price divided by twelve.

Then we quote it properly instead of forcing it into a box. Larger builds, unusual requirements and anything needing custom development are scoped individually against a written specification, still at a fixed price.

Yes, and it is common. Businesses often start with a Starter site and add pages, a store or campaign pages as they grow. You pay the difference for the new work rather than starting again from scratch.

We are a small Gauteng team without the overheads of a large agency, so we cost less than one. We cost more than a template thrown together overseas, because the site is built for your business and built to rank. You are choosing where on that line you want to sit.

Your logo if you have one, a rough idea of the pages you need, your text, and any photos worth using. We send you an outline of what each page should cover so you are not staring at a blank page. Content arriving late is the most common reason a build takes longer than it should.
