SEO priced by what it covers.

What does SEO cost?

Plans start at R3 500 a month. What moves up the range is how many keywords you are competing for, how many pages get written each month, and how much link building is involved — all of which follow how competitive your market is rather than how large your company is.

Which plan do I actually need?

Start from how many searches you need to win and who you are up against. One town and a handful of services fits Starter. Competing across Gauteng against businesses already doing SEO needs Growth. Multiple locations, a full catalogue or a national market is where Authority earns its keep.

One location → Starter

Ten keywords covers most single-location businesses properly. Add the Google Business Profile work and you are competing for the map results too.

A competitive market → Growth

When rivals are already investing, keyword count is not enough on its own — the link building and competitor tracking are what move you past them.

Many pages or places → Authority

Stores and multi-location businesses have far more pages that can rank, which needs a landing page programme rather than a page a month.

Straight answers

What isn't included, and what can't be promised?

Three things worth saying plainly: no plan includes a ranking guarantee, because nobody controls Google. Links are earned, never bought. And ad spend is separate — SEO is the organic side, so if you also want Google Ads, that is its own budget and its own fee.

No position guarantees

What is committed is the work and the reporting. Any agency promising a specific position is either targeting terms nobody searches or hoping you never check.

Links earned, not bought

The two to eight monthly links are earned through outreach and being worth referencing. Bought links are the fastest route to a penalty.

Advertising is separate

SEO plans cover organic search only. Paid campaigns have their own budget and management fee, and we keep the two clearly apart.

Questions, answered

SEO pricing questions we get asked most.

A search term we are actively working to rank you for, tracked and reported monthly. Close variations count as one — you are not charged separately for singular and plural. Ten well-chosen keywords covers a single-location business properly; the count matters less than whether they are the ones your buyers actually type.

Plans are month to month, but be realistic: SEO takes months to compound, and stopping at month two wastes what you have spent. If you cannot see yourself running it for at least six months, Google Ads is a better use of the same money and we will say so.

Mentions on real, relevant South African sites — directories that matter in your industry, suppliers, associations, local press. Earned through outreach and having something worth linking to. We do not buy links or use private networks, both of which risk a penalty that costs more to recover from than the links ever gained.

Starter includes technical fixes on up to ten pages, which suits most small sites. If the audit shows deeper structural problems, technical SEO can be quoted as a separate one-off piece of work first — usually the better order, because fixing the foundation makes everything after it work harder.

Yes, in either direction. Businesses often start on Starter and move up once the foundations are done and they want to compete for more. Moving down is equally fine — if you are not using what you are paying for, we would rather tell you than keep billing it.

They do different jobs. Ads stop producing the day you stop paying; SEO keeps working. Running both is common — ads carry you while SEO builds. If your budget only covers one and you need enquiries this month, run the ads first.

Mostly groundwork: keyword research confirmed, technical fixes applied, your Google Business Profile sorted and tracking set up. Visible ranking movement usually starts later, so the first report is about what was done and what it should produce rather than positions won.
