GX Slingshots is the leading specialist retailer of premium slingshot frames, bands, accessories, and targets in South Africa. Founded by Niel Pretorius in Bloemfontein, the business is the country's primary stockist for international brands like SimpleShot and Pocket Shot, while championing local craftsmanship through South African-made products.

Niel also founded and presides over the South African Slingshot Federation (SASF), affiliated with the World Slingshot Association. His mission goes beyond retail: he is actively preserving and growing the tradition of "kettie skiet" as a recognised sport.
