How do we approach our projects?
To ensure the best quality solutions for your business, we focus on:
The groundwork before the work begins. Our process consists of several steps, each of which is tailored to your unique brief provided above.
1. Logging your call
As we invest a lot of time, effort, and dedication to deliver you the perfect design, you will be required to pay a 50% deposit before any work begins. The start of the project will only be scheduled and uploaded to the workflow system once we have received the deposit. Note that the deposit is non-refundable unless AIS cancels the project.
2. Briefing
The most important step in this process is to understand your vision. At this stage, you outline the project objectives, deliverables, timeline, and budget.
3. Research
Research is essential to define the project goals in more detail by identifying current trends, styles, and features. Please rely on our experience in this area.
4. Conceptulisation
In this step, our design team develops concepts and drafts, which we then present to you in digital form via email.
5. Presentation & Revision
You have the opportunity to review the proposed solutions and give us feedback. We then refine the concept, if necessary, and ensure the final look and design.
- Brand development (consisting of concepts for the logo, business card, and stationery)
The first round of design is within 7 to 14 working days after receipt of the deposit and letter. - Advertisements & Newsletters
The first round of design is within 7 to 14 working days after the deposit and receipt of the letter. - Brochures & folders
The first round of design incl. cover design and draft content page @ 7 to 14 working days after receipt of deposit & letterSecond design round incl. page layouts of a completed project, depending on the number of pages.
Each graphic design project includes 2 free rounds of revisions, but any amount of revisions can be added at any time @ R400/hour
- Website
First design round including website look & feel of the homepage @ 7 to 14 working days after receipt of deposit and letter.After receiving feedback on projects, it may take up to 3 days for revisions to be sent back to you for the second round of approval and further work on the matter.
Each web design project includes 2 free rounds of revisions for templates and 2 free rounds of revisions for content changes, but any amount of revisions can be added at any time @ R225/hour
6. Artwork
After the designs are signed off, all the high-resolution artwork is compiled and sent out or uploaded to a shared Dropbox folder if it’s too big.
7. Development
If your project involves a website, this is where we bridge the gap between aesthetics and functionality. Our developers start by transforming the flat design into a functioning website or application. Once we are done with development, you’ll receive a hidden live link to view the website (depending on the size of the website) so you can check it out and give final feedback.
